A fruity aroma with a distinctly citrusy caramel note characterizes this nonalcoholic white wine. Its bouquet is also redolent of fresh apple, lending the nonalcoholic white wine a distinctive finesse typical of its class. The nonalcoholic wine’s flavor strikes a balance between refined sweetness and fruity acid, rounded out by a fine mineral finish.
Good quality white wines of a pure tone with predominantly low fruit acidity and high mineral content serve as this sparkling wine’s base material. This composition has a formative influence on the high extract content yet moderate fruit acid. These white wines stem predominantly from German winegrowing regions (the Palatinate, Baden, Rheinhessen). Neutral varieties of grape such as Müller-Thurgau, Weisburgunder, Kerner, and Silvaner grapes are preferred, lending this nonalcoholic product its neutral profile. Once the alcohol is extracted via vacuum distillation, the nonalcoholic wine is kept chilled, and its taste is harmonized using with natural, good quality grape must shortly before bottling.
